Business trip in Belgium

This week, I travelled to Belgium on a business trip and had the opportunity to be present at the launch of a new finished-goods warehouse. Being on site during such a critical phase gave me a much deeper understanding of how a large logistics project comes to life in practice.

I was able to see the freight planning and transport coordination processes directly before the warehouse went live, from the very last load planning to the final checks and handovers. Working in the field, I could observe the last-minute fine-tuning needed to ensure smooth operations from day one.

During the visit, I also had the chance to get a closer look at the operational techniques behind modern, high-capacity warehouses. I gained insight into inbound and outbound processes, as well as the use of modern technology during truck check-ins. I found the whole setup very impressive and highly educational.

I consider the four-day trip absolutely valuable and insightful, both professionally and personally. I would like to thank my direct manager, András Koltai, and my company for giving me this opportunity.
